Synagogue/Community Training

JCHLA provides synagogues with workshops which create, train and maintain bikkur holim committees for their communities.

What is bikkur holim? It means visiting the sick, and it is a mitzvah to do so.

Synagogues interested in setting up or revitalizing their bikkur holim committees should contact us.

The Jewish Healing center also conducts periodic seminars for the community at large in the art of bikkur holim. Once you have received this training, you may volunteer with JHCLA. If you are interested, contact us.

Public Speaking

Rabbis from the Healing Center can speak on a wide variety of topics. If you would like to be informed of upcoming trainings and seminars that are open to the public, please email us. We do not share our email list with any other organizations, so your privacy is assured. For more, visit our Contact page.
